RUB 650 Million Will Be Allocated for Creating Infrastructure in New Localities
Next year more than RUB 650 million will be allocated for creating the infrastructure in agglomerations established on Far Eastern Hectares in Khabarovsk Krai. Vasilii Shikhalev, Deputy Chairman of the regional Government declared this at the conference on cooperation and small entrepreneurship on the Far Eastern Hectare held in Khabarovsk.
Khabarovsk Krai belongs to three most popular Far Eastern regions for Russians to apply for the lot. According to Vasilii Shikhalev, acting as the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Khabarovsk Krai, currently more than 16 thousands of applications for receiving a lot in the Krai have been filed, among them 1.5 thousands from citizens of other Russian regions.
"More than 7 thousands of program participants have already received land lots in Khabarovsk Krai. The most popular territories are located near Svechino, Krasnoznamenka, Elabuga and Kruglikovo villages. More than thousand applications have been filed for the land near the latter.
Having analyzed the lots popular among the applicants, we have determined nine priority territories. Some agglomerations which formed on "Far Eastern hectares' will extend the borders of existing localities and some of them will create new ones. Works on creating the transport and engineering infrastructure have been organized. Also it's planned to allot the needed resources and the financial estimate is ready. In advance RUB 650 million are needed for arranging the four territories. We will consider this when establishing the budget for the next year. The total need for all priority areas is approximately RUB 1.5 billion".

"Due to July amendments into the federal law 30 million hectares more were allocated in Khabarovsk Krai, but the regional authorized bodies keep analyzing which territories can also be used in the program", added Irina Serova, acting as the Minister of Investment and Land and Property Policy of Khabarovsk Krai.
"We propose to consider the opportunity of extending the territory of protecting forests in the coastal area. This comprises approximately 5 million hectares. Also it's worth extending the list of allowed activities on the timber fund territory", underlined Irina Serova.
It should be mentioned that approximately 70 agglomerations of lots have been formed on Far Eastern Hectares. There are plans of developing the infrastructure for 17 of them.
"The number of agglomerations is increasing constantly. Now citizens prefer to choose their Far Eastern Hectare where they have real neighbors. The information on the new agglomerations is published in the Vkontakte community "Дальневосточный гектар: Мы соседи!" (Far Eastern hectare: We are neighbors!). – active citizens send their requests to mark their agglomerations on our maps so that they will be able to find their neighbors and start developing their land. People try to team up as they have the same question on land development. It's much easier and cheaper to solve them together", underlined Valentin Timakov, Director General of Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East.
It should be recalled that the All-Russian conference on cooperation and small entrepreneurship on the Far Eastern Hectare was held in Khabarovsk on the 8th-9th of November. The event was organized by the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East together with the Government of Khabarovsk Krai.
During the two days the program participants, entrepreneurs and experts will be discussing the principles of establishing a successful cooperative and good practices. More than 200 experts took part in the conference. It produced ready-made solutions for involving the recipients of Far Easter Hectares into cooperatives and also created tools for supporting the demand for the products made at the Far Eastern Hectare.
