Ministry for Development of Russian Far East Made News Available in English
The Ministry for Development of Russian Far East has updated its official website, which now includes an English version. From now on, our international visitors can enjoy all basic sections, including news and multimedia materials, in English. To proceed to the English version, please click the ENG icon in the top right corner on minvr.ru or go directly to eng.minvr.ru.
A Chinese version is coming soon, as well. We also have plans to translate our materials into Korean and Japanese.
As a reminder, the Ministry for Development of Russian Far East and institutes for the Far East development are actively expanding interaction with the Far East closest neighbors, the APAC countries. Representative offices of Far East Investment and Export Agency (FEIEA) now work in China (Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai). We also plan to open representative offices in Seoul and Tokyo in the first half of 2018. Besides, we have made contacts with the business community of the APAC countries. In particular, the Support Center for Korean Investors was opened on November 24, which will include a hotline for Korean investors by the yearend. We have signed an agreement with JBIC (Japan Bank of International Cooperation) on creation of a platform to support Japanese investments in the Russian Far East. We have also agreed with China Overseas Development Association (CODA) to establish a joint Center for Attraction of Chinese Investments into the Far Eastern Federal District.
