The Project of the First Resident of Sovetskaya Gavan Free Port Launched
The company "Gavanlesprom", which is the first resident of the territory of the SPV Soviet Harbor, has started implementation of the project on non-waste timber processing. According to the agreement with the JSC “Corporation for the Development of the Far East”, the investor will invest about 70 million rubles in the project.
A modern manufacturing complex is being created in the settlement of Maysky, the Sovetsko-Gavansky Municipal District. Currently, the resident company is preparing workshops for the installation of equipment, straightens out the site, and mounts lighting.
The prepared premises will house a sawing line for the production of round wood with a capacity of 2,250 cubic meters of finished products per month and thin-stemmed timber processing equipment with a capacity of 1,700 cubic meters of finished products per month.
In December 2018, the first consignment of equipment for the shop of thin-stemmed timber from Kirov is expected to arrive. In addition, until the end of the year OOO “Gavanlesprom” plans to employ 18 people, the whole project envisages creation of 76 new jobs. Employees together with the management of the enterprise will be trained on the new equipment without interrupting the process. The specialists from Kirov will help them in their training.
OOO "Gavanlesprom" plans to expand the production of fuel pellets. According to the manufacturing development plan, additional equipment will be purchased in the year 2019. By October 2019, it is planned to convert the warehouse of finished products to a warm workshop for the manufacturing of fuel pellets.
Let us remind you, the regime of the FPV extended to the territory of Sovetsko-Gavansky Municipal District of Khabarovsk Krai in July 2018.

In the near future, the top ten of the services most demanded by residents will be: legal, accounting, customs, engineering, information, personnel and other consulting services.”
To date, residents of the Free port of Vladivostok under the agreements with the JSC “Corporation for the Development of the Far East” have already invested in the region's economy more than 45.8 billion rubles, creating 5702 new jobs. The number of residents of the FPV has now reached 955. The total value of the projects implemented by investors reached 546.6 billion rubles, because of the full implementation of which 54.3 thousand jobs will be created.
